Once the Main Character reaches Trailblaze level 16 and defeats Cocolia, they can speak to Julian in Boulder Town to begin The Adventurous Moles quest. The quest involves collecting pages from a damaged children’s book that leads to treasures.
The first page can be found in the Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone on Jarilo-VI in a cave with storage shelves near a space anchor.
1. Collect all the pages
There’s a lot to do in Honkai: Star Rail on Jarilo-VI, from cosmic mysteries to combat and companion missions. But there’s also a few fun and frivolous side quests that can net players some nice rewards. One of them is called The Adventurous Moles, which asks players to hunt down certain book pages and solve a puzzle to get free chests. To get this quest, players must complete a number of pre-requisite missions. These include defeating Cocolia, reaching Trailblazer level 24, and finishing Hook’s Companion Quest.
Once players have all of these requirements, they can head to Boulder Town and talk to Julian. The boy will tell them about a damaged children’s book that contains clues on where to find buried treasure. The player will then be given what’s left of the The Adventurous Moles storybook, with a table of contents pointing them toward a location in the Great Mine.
To start collecting the pages, players should teleport to the Transport Hub space anchor in the Backwater Pass and then head southeast to an open-air cafe. The note they need is on top of a chair. The first page is in Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone, and to find it, players must head inside the fences near a large machine. Once there, they should see a few boxes on iron shelves. The player needs to pick up the crate on the top and then go to the shelve on the right side near the stair and put it in the middle to get the treasure.
The other three pages can be found in a number of locations across the map, each with its own set of clues and corresponding puzzle to solve. Once players collect all four pages, they can then return to Julian and submit them to Nika in the Administrative District.
2. Collect all the riddles
When players first plop down on the frozen world of Jarilo-VI in Honkai Star Rail, their ragtag group of kids called The Moles will be tasked with some fun and frivolous missions that net them some cool rewards. One of these scavenger hunt quests is The Adventurous Moles, which will start once players complete Hook’s Time Capsule and reach Trailblazer level 18. Developed by Genshin Impact, the team behind the free-to-play RPG, The Adventurous Moles involves finding missing pages from a children’s book with clues that point to hidden treasure chests.
To get started on this task, players need to speak with Julian in Boulder Town and pick up the book he gives them. The book contains four missing pages that have clues to the treasure chests based on the book’s table of contents.
The first page of the book is located in Backwater Pass. Head to the area marked on our map above and interact with a chair in front of you to reveal the clue for the first treasure chest. The next page can be found in the Great Mine. Across from the Overlook Space Anchor, there’s a fence with three Miner’s Lamps on it. Pick up the fourth Lamp on a box to grab this page.
The third page is in Rivet Town, and you can find it by teleporting to the Abandoned Market Space Anchor. Enter the cave there and walk past the crates and towards the shelves on the left. One of the shelves will have a crate that’s identical to the others. Interact with this crate and place it on the middle shelf to claim this treasure chest.
3. Collect all the treasure chests
There are many cosmic mysteries to solve in Honkai Star Rail, but that doesn’t mean you can’t also go on some fun and frivolous quests. One such side quest, called The Adventurous Moles, tasks players with collecting all the treasure chests associated with a special book of children’s stories. To access this mission, players must complete Hook’s first companion mission, Old Foreman’s Treasure, defeat Cocolia during the Trailblaze Mission The Return, and reach Trailblaze Level 18. Then, they can talk to Julian outside of Natasha’s Clinic in Boulder Town.
To begin, Julian will give players a special edition of The Adventurous Moles that has some pages missing. Fortunately, the table of contents will provide clues as to where to find the remaining pages. The first page is located in the Great Mine. To find it, players must use the Miner’s Lamp in the puzzle area, then place it on the only section of pipe that is not lit up to reveal the treasure chest.
The next page is located in Backwater Pass, a location that can be accessed by using the Transport Hub space anchor and heading in the opposite direction of one of the Stagnant Shadows missions. Once players get to this area, they should look for a bench with a missing page titled The Unexpected Parchment. Interact with the chair to retrieve the page, then head to a nearby table and place it flat on the floor to reveal another treasure chest.
After all the pages have been collected, players must then bring them to Nika in Belobog’s Administrative District. Once the player does, Nika will agree to publish the book. Then, players can enjoy the rewards for their efforts including Trailblaze EXP, Sparse Aether, and Stellar Jade.
4. Collect all the weapons
In addition to the cosmic mysteries that need to be solved in Honkai: Star Rail, there are also some fun and frivolous quests that players can take on. One such quest is The Adventurous Moles, which tasks players with finding pages of a treasure hunt book on the frozen world of Jarilo-VI. Here’s how to get the job done.
Once players have completed the Trailblazer Mission series and beaten Cocolia, a new quest marker will appear in Boulder Town near Julian. Speaking to the character will trigger The Adventurous Moles quest, which asks players to find three missing pages of a treasure hunt book on the ice planet of Jarilo-VI. These pages will unlock treasure chests containing weapons like EXP, Stellar Jade, Shield, Sparse Aether, and Credit.
The first page can be found in Backwater Pass. Players should use the Transport Hub Space Anchor to make their way there and head southeast to an open-air cafe. The page, titled The Unexpected Parchment, is on a bench near the cafe. To retrieve the page, players must interact with the chairs in the area and place one of them upside down on the ground upright to reveal a treasure chest.
After retrieving the page, players should head to the Abandoned Market fast travel point in Rivet Town and pick up the note on a barrel ahead of them. From there, players should head to a cave with storage shelves and move all of the boxes around to resemble the picture on the missing page. Players should then grab the crate in the top row and place it on the middle shelf of boxes to reveal another treasure chest.
5. Collect all the trophies
One of the many side quests available in Honkai: Star Rail is The Adventurous Moles, a scavenger hunt that rewards players with free chests and other items. To initiate the quest, the Main Character must talk to Julian in Boulder Town, a boy who can be found by the entrance of Natasha’s Clinic. The boy will explain that he has what’s left of a damaged children’s book that contains pages missing. He will then ask the player to find the missing pages based on clues in its table of contents.
First, the player must head to Backwater Pass and look for a note near the entrance of an open-air cafe. After the player picks it up, they must teleport to the Transport Hub space anchor and head northeast. Once there, they should find a cave with shelves with crates on them. The player must then place each crate in the same way on the shelves on both sides, based on the clues given. Once they have done this, a treasure will appear on the second shelf.
The next page is located in Boulder Town’s Great Mine map. The player must teleport to the Overlook space anchor and then go up the hill to find a pair of fences with three miner’s lamps on them. The player must pick up the fourth lamp and place it on the wall, triggering a treasure chest to appear. The final page is located in Rivet Town, where the player must teleport to the Abandoned Market space anchor. They must then enter the cave and move around the shelves based on the clues provided. Once the players have moved the boxes in the same way on all of the shelves, a treasure will appear.
